Don Hallock

Born and raised in Austin, Texas I have been interested in many different kinds of art all my life! Drawing, painting writing songs and playing music etc. I enjoyed a long carrier in the antiques & collectibles business owning my own shops in Texas and also New Mexico. After retiring from this business I had a lot of left overs and became interested in making Found Object Art! This is also called Fantasy or Outsider Art! Picking out many small common objects and reassembling them in one larger themed sculpture. I take a lot of time to pick & choose, adding and subtracting just the right parts that make up a certain theme. My basic materials are wood, metal, plastic and paint with nails, screws and glues. I do not weld or solder anything! I still have a lot more ideas than I have the time to create them!.
