Priscilla Spitler

Book artist Priscilla Spitler has worked in in Truth or Consequences since 2007 at her Hands On Bookbinding studio, specializing in hand binding limited book editions, teaching workshops, and creating artist books. She received a BFA in Printmaking in 1975 from the California College of Arts & Crafts, Oakland, and a certificate in craft bookbinding from the London College of Printing in 1981. Priscilla was an edition binder for the Palace Press, Museum of New Mexico, Santa Fe, from 1982-1986 and at BookLab, Inc., in Austin, Texas, from 1987 to 1995. Her award winning book art has been exhibited internationally. In 2015 the national Guild of Book Workers honored Priscilla with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
